Open seven days a week

Advance Auto Parts is a leading automotive aftermarket parts and accessories provider with nearly 5,000 stores across the U.S. and Canada. It offers a full line of high-quality aftermarket parts, accessories and services to do-it-yourselfers, professional installers and importers.

The company has been around for decades. Advance opened its first store in 1932, and has since grown into one of the largest chains in the industry. In addition to providing top-of-the-line auto parts and accessories, it also offers a wide variety of imported cars and sport utility vehicles.

Although the company does not release an official hourly schedule, many of its locations do have limited hours during the holiday period. For example, Advance is opening a new store in Rocky Point in late April. If you’re planning on visiting, make sure you call ahead. This will save you time and money.

Offers free in-store services

Whether you are looking to change your battery or replace your brake pads, Advance Auto Parts has got you covered. This top-of-the-line retailer has what you need to get your engine spooling again. And don’t forget to check out the free in- store services.

Not only does they carry a hefty selection of the latest auto parts, but they also provide a wide array of tools, accessories, and services to keep your car in top shape.

Besides stocking a large assortment of aftermarket auto parts, the company has also taken the initiative to help its customers save money. The company offers a rebate program and free in-store services, among other things. It is also the largest automotive aftermarket parts supplier in the country.

Acquired Western Auto Supply Company/Parts America

Advance Auto Parts (AAP) is the second largest publicly traded automotive parts company in the United States. It is headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia. The company serves do-it-yourself customers and professional installers. They also provide private-label automotive replacement parts and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts. In addition, they offer online shopping.

Advance Auto Parts was founded in April 1932 and began to grow organically. By 1989, the company had 150 stores. As part of its growth, it began to focus on auto accessories.

Advance grew to become one of the fastest growing retailers in the U.S., with the company’s stock reaching a high of $9.85 in 1997. However, the company’s organic sales dipped during the recession. A new management team led by Arthur Taubman and Garnett Smith pushed the company to continue its expansion.

Acquired BWP Distributors

Advance Auto Parts announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire BWP Distributors, Inc. in an all-cash transaction. This acquisition will strengthen the company’s position as a leading aftermarket automotive parts retailer in North America.

The acquisition will enable Advance Auto to expand its geographical footprint and reach new customers across the U.S., especially in the Northeast. Its presence in these markets will also provide the company with a new sales channel with independent customers.

This transaction will generate a higher level of earnings per share, as the transaction will increase cash flow and enhance growth. Advance Auto anticipates that operating income will increase by 13.5% to $170.7 million.

In addition, the company expects to benefit from a stronger balance sheet and higher shareholder value. Advance Auto intends to finance the acquisition with existing cash and bank debt. The acquisition has been approved by the boards of directors of both companies.

Founder’s philosophy

It’s a given that the name Advance evokes visions of big box stores, but Advance Auto Parts is a family-owned, small business that sells replacement parts to auto owners. Currently, the company operates 667 stores in 10 states. They sell everything from lawnmowers to seat covers, but the best part is that they don’t overcharge you. In fact, they’re quite a bit cheaper than their rivals, like O’Reilly Auto Parts, which have an average price of about $190 per part.

The company has been around since 1932. However, it had to adjust to the constraints of World War II. In the early years, Advance operated service bays and sold housewares. After the war, the company spruced up its operation. Today, Advance operates 10 stores in the Roanoke Valley.
